I've literally wanted to go to Egypt my entire life (blame the Mummy movies lol), so of course we planned to stop there during our world trip! but everything we saw online basically said the same thing: it’s too chaotic, everyone is out to scam you, you can’t do it without a guide - don’t even bother going. we almost decided not to go, but powered on because damn it I really wanted to go to Egypt. so we went, nervous and prepared for the worst.
And? Yes it's chaotic, but that’s part of the fun. Yes there are people calling out to sell you stuff at the tourist sites, but it's not even close to as bad as people make it out to be. We honestly ended up loving it!!

Not gonna lie, before this trip we had barely even heard of Georgia. But after one week exploring this stunning country, we’re seriously wondering why more people aren’t talking about it! From the charming cities, the beautiful landscapes, and especially the food… 🤤 yall need to try khachapuri (it’s basically a bread boat of cheese and butter - yes, it’s amazing. yes, we ate a bunch, and yes, peter is going to have to learn how to make me more).
