My Story
I am a self taught community builder, serial hustler (in a good way) and sun worshipper.
I began my community journey when i moved to Madrid in 2016 and created Eat Out Madrid - an online platform for food and drink lovers in the city to ask for recommendations and share their favourites places in real time.
Three years later, Eat Out Madrid has grown to over 6,000 members and we have expanded to Barcelona and I have also created Eat In Madrid - for those who enjoy cooking at home.
In 2019 i became a Duolingo Global ambassador and began a weekly english club . The Afterwork English Club in partnership with the Irish Rover and became one of the chapter hosts for CMX Connect Madrid - bringing together community builders at in-person events.
Without any formal community management training it has been a long journey of learning how build, grow and scale communities through investing much of my time and energy.
Building a community is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. (One that never ends)
