Theme: HOLY SPIRIT THAT WORKS IN OUR LIVES (John 14:26)

Topic: THE HOLY SPIRIT EMPOWER'S US TO LIVE AND SERVE (Acts 1:8)

BENEFITS OF BEING EMPOWERED
1. Being effective in Proclaiming the Gospel (Acts 1:8)
2. For Ministerial Gifts (9 Gifts) (1 Corinthians 12:7-10)
a. Words of Wisdom
b. Words of Knowledge
c. Discerning Spirit
d. Gift of Faith
e. Gift of Healing
f. Working Miracles
g. Gift of Prophecy
h. Gift of Tongues
i. Interpretation of Tongues
4. Power and Victory over Sin (Romans 6:13-14, Galatians 2:20
5. Power and Victory over Satan and Demonic forces of the World (Ephesians 6:12, 2 Corinthians 10:3-4, 1John 4:4

REASONS OF EMPOWERMENT
1. For our Work of Service (John 10:37-38)
We need the power of the Holy Spirit to perform signs and wonders and to do miracles. To prove that we are God's disciples.
Like the Lord Jesus Christ, He began His ministry right after his baptism when the Holy Spirit descended upon Him like a dove.
This moment is called the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Acts 10:38
Equipped with a divine calling, Jesus Christ stepped out of His quiet life and launched His dynamic ministry by preaching, healing, and revealing the Kingdom of God.
2. For our Victory in every day's Life (Ephesians 6:12, Romans 8:11, Zechariah 4:6)
A reminder that lasting victory does not rely on our personal talents, power, or strength but entirely on God's Spirit alone. 1 Corinthians 15:57
Victory is a gift given to you through CHRIST and His Spirit, not something you have earned on your own.

CHALLENGE!!
WALK WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, and STAY CLOSE TO GOD.
