Food is always at the heart of my travels. No matter how long or exhausting the days are, I always try to have at least one good meal a day.

Amazing northern lights again.

Today is International Women’s Day.
For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment - The UN’s theme for this year reminds us that true progress happens only when every woman and girl, everywhere, has the opportunity to thrive.

I have always believed in the power within me—the strength to go after my goals and reach the places I dream of. No one should be held back because of their gender. The same opportunities that have driven me forward should be available to all women and girls, globally.

Let’s work together to break barriers, every woman’s potential is limitless.

I enjoy my life here in Northern Finland. I love winter. We have a stunning sea that freezes in the winter. It’s easier to enjoy winter with the right clothes, but sometimes, you can have a little fun with it.

I saw something in my hometown today that I’ve never seen before. We had nacreous clouds in the sky. It was stunning and so beautiful. Did you know that admiration produces oxytocin? I definitely got some today.

Sunny day on ice.

Polar night – the unique Arctic twilight where the sun stays below the horizon, yet the world is illuminated by the soft glow of moonlight and snow. Finland’s forests during the polar night radiate a beauty like no other. The moonlight dances on the snow, making it shimmer like tiny diamonds, while the serene atmosphere creates a scene straight out of a fairytale. This is the magic of the North, a reminder to slow down and embrace the stillness. I just enjoy living here.
