It was absolutely roasting today in Benidorm 🥵

Temperatures reached 40°C in the sun and around 35°C in the shade.

Thankfully, it looks like things will cool down a little over the coming week, with temperatures returning to a more typical 31°C, still plenty hot enough for me when I get back to Benidorm tomorrow evening! ☀️

I've had a lovely week with my parents, who are enjoying their holiday on the Costa Brava, around 600 km north of Benidorm ❤️

I love the much greener coastline along the Costa Brava. 🌴

Sometimes I wish we had a bit more green around Benidorm too.

On the other hand, once the summer season is over, things get pretty quiet here. That's where Benidorm shines; great weather, plenty of life, and something happening 365 days a year. ☀️

Good news for Sunday shoppers! 🥳

The Lidl supermarket in Rincón de Loix (opposite the Melia Hotel) is now open 7 days a week again, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM.

I'm so glad it's finally reopened on Sundays, I've lost count of how many times I needed something and found it closed! 😆🛒
