What is Automation?

Automation simply means letting a machine or computer do tasks on its own, without someone repeating the same steps again and again.

It started in factories, where machines assembling cars, packing goods, or moving materials so people didn’t have to. This made work faster, cheaper, and more accurate.

But today, automation goes far beyond factories. It’s everywhere in our daily lives:

Washing machines that complete a full cycle on their own.

Traffic lights that change automatically.

Your phone sending reminders for meetings without you writing them down each time.

Emails that send instantly when you sign up for a new account.

Files that back up to the cloud without you copying them manually.

The list goes on and the goal is always to get rid of the routine so that you can do the work in less time and with more accuracy.
