The Computer Engineering Department at AASTMT Smart Village was pleased to host an inspiring lecture in collaboration with VOIS Egypt under the title “Skills for Life – Build Today, Lead Tomorrow.”

The session provided our students with valuable insights into essential professional and personal development skills, including personal branding, CV writing, interviewing skills, communication, leadership, and youth development. It was a meaningful opportunity for our students to learn from industry professionals and gain practical guidance that supports their academic and career journeys.

The department extends its sincere appreciation to the distinguished speakers from VOIS Egypt — Habiba Kamel, Mariam Eldeeb, and Joumana Makar — for their impactful contributions and inspiring engagement with our students.

The Computer Engineering Department at the College of Engineering and Technology – Smart Village successfully hosted the seminar:

**“Impact of Using AI Tools (Real Work Scenarios)”** on April 6, 2026.

We were honored to welcome **Eng. Mohamed Said**, Training Director at RAKICT, who delivered an engaging and insightful session on the practical use of AI tools in real-world work environments. The seminar provided valuable perspectives on how AI is shaping modern industries and enhancing professional productivity.

On **March 2, 2026**, we gathered to celebrate our **Ramadan Iftar 2026**—an event that was more than just a meal, but a reflection of unity, appreciation, and shared moments.

Faculty members, staff, and students came together in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, embodying the رfamily spirit that truly defines our department.

Ramadan reminds us of the values that matter most: gratitude, unity, and compassion. It was inspiring to see these values come to life through the laughter, conversations, and genuine connections throughout the evening.

On Monday, February 16, 2026, the Computer Engineering Department organized a field visit to the Science and Technology Center of Excellence (STCE) at the Military’s Production .

The visit gave students the opportunity to explore advanced technologies, learn about ongoing research projects, and interact with experts in the field. It was a valuable experience that connected academic learning with real-world innovation.

We are proud to announce the successful launch of the first student conference under the
umbrella of the Huawei Academy Support Center (IASC), at the Arab Academy for Science,
Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) - Smart Village branch, on Monday 16
February 2026.
This milestone event follows the strategic agreement signed between Huawei and AASTMT
to enhance the digital readiness of our students.
Our Computer Engineering students joined leaders from Huawei and AASTMT at the first
session to explore:
✅ New training systems and certifications.
✅ Strategies for career success in the tech industry.
✅ How to maximize the benefits of having a Huawei Academy right here on campus.
