QESP (Quality Education Support program ) Under Construction Project
Location: ElMonshaa & Saqulta districts in Sohag, and Manfalot district in Assiut - Egypt.
Owner: KFW & GAEB
Partners: GOPA & Middle East engineering consultants
Project Description: 18 schools with different types (primary and Basic education stages) gifted from The Federal Republic of Germany; aiming at improving the quality of education as well as the learning environment in the most needed villages in Egypt.
Project area: Different areas ranging between 1,060 m² and 4,360 m²
Classrooms numbers: According to every school ranging between 8 and 42 classrooms in one school.
Scope of work: CDC scope includes design, renovation and construction supervision of school infrastructure in a decentralized and participatory planning, implementation and maintenance framework, as well as the strengthening of capacities of local school boards and district level offices of the Ministry of Education with the help of NGOs.
