Glimpses of our Trek to Al Sheikh Awad (Wadi Gharaba) & Wadi Itlah in the high mountains area, where time slows and the mountains whisper old secrets. We made Alkarm Lodge our home, a place that felt more like a portal than an ecolodge. From here, we walked through Wadi Gharaba, tracing the steps of the Jebeliya tribe, learning the tales from Sheikh Jameel, Ashraf & Suliman

We stopped to learn about wild herbs, tasted the cold, sweet water from hidden wells, and let the silence of the valleys settle into our mind. The kind of silence that speaks if you let it.

It wasn’t just a hike. It was a dialogue with the land, with ourselves, with something greater.
