Role Description

Candidate will manage a team of software developers to assure that software development activities are delivered on time while complying to company quality standards. Role responsibilities can be summarized as follows:

Set estimates for required software development effort
Key person in design of software applications
Manage software development activities
Coach and support team members in technical issues, challenges and problems
Conduct code reviews
Communicate with client to resolve technical issues, challenges and problems

Qualifications

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering
5+ years of experience with the full software development life cycle covering requirements, design, development, testing, delivery and support
Experience in design of complete software applications
Hands-on experience with C #, ASP.net, MVC, LINQ, Entity Framework.
Strong experience with Angular, Dotnet core.
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Exceptional experience with Microsoft SQL Server including stored procedures, views and triggers
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services and Reporting Services
Familiarity with general mobile application development landscape, trends, and emerging technologies
Experience with Web Services
Hands-on experience with Agile software development is a plus
Ability to translate business requirements to technical solutions
Solid understanding of OO design and implementation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Possess creative problem-solving skills
Experience in handling clients
Ability to lead a team.

Participate in design and coding of Web applications
Estimate effort for software development projects
Deploy software systems for clients
Provide mentoring to junior web application developers
​Ensure a consistent set of standards and best practices in application development

Defines testing scope of the project
Plans all testing activities
Participates in all types of testing including functional, regression and load testing
Monitors and supports junior quality control engineers
Coordinates with project manager and team leader delivery plan and User Acceptance Testing
Responsible of receiving technical support calls from clients, plan fixes of client reported issues with project manager

Responsible for managing the scrum process
Coaching Agile practices
Helps product owner to make the product backlogs in good shape and make them ready for the next sprint
Organizes and facilitates sprint planning meetings
Arrange daily stand-up meetings and facilitate meetings, demoes, and decision-making
Responsible for conducting retrospective meetings
Prepare a retrospective document
Document internal audits and findings to implement appropriate corrective actions
Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
Record projects risks and issues
Project Planning with expertise in estimation & creating useful, reliable and practical plans for software development projects
Conduct releases and iterations plans, as well as updating the release and iteration charts on daily basis
Prepare reports on team capacity, progress and effectiveness of team performance
Ensure that the customer comments have been recorded and classified (bugs, new features)

Assures that the software solution meets its requirements and complies with the quality standards of the company
Creates test environments
Designs test cases
Ensures their proper ex*****on and records their results

Participate in design and coding of software applications for iOS
Estimate effort for software development projects
Ensure a consistent set of standards and best practices in application development

Design, build and support Data Warehouses and Reporting solutions
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements for reports and dashboards
