I never thought this phase would fade ...

Sometimes, i use art to let go of strong emotions that are held deep inside me, i revisit them after i am healed only to recognise that part of who i am today was because of how i felt back then....

The randomness of overthinking my art style and who i was as an artist grew stronger, yet i never let my failures define me, and here i am today, grateful for the mistakes.

Throwback to the year 2018 when i was a 17 y.o girl drawing for my small art accout and actually enjoying being creative and trying out new techniques ✨

So this was really fun to do cause i stepped out of my comfort zone a lil and tried incorporating a story behind the prompt of the day. 2020 was such a successful year for me art wise especially October 🖤

I enjoyed painting this drawing very much, as it was outside my usual style. However, it still fit the theme I was aiming for, making it my second favorite inktober 2020 creation.✨🖤
