Opening night at Haapsalu Õudus- ja Fantaasiafilmide Festival (HÕFF) brought a full house — and the mayor was beheaded on stage by guilliotine🪦
A haunted parade took over the streets of Haapsalu, nightmare Freddy dominated the bloody red carpet, and The Tomahawck Brothers gave a brass-fueled twist to a silent film.
At the annual film items auction, 1650€ was raised for Ukraine 🇺🇦 Traditionally, the audience voted, and the Blunt Axe award for the worst horror film of the year went to Imaginary (2024).
Here’s to masks, madness, and two decades of horror and fantasy. Happy 20th, HÕFF 🎂🎉
