As we said earlier we'd give you more details about the artwork and how it developed,
It is in fact inspired by and image of the Auressian abandoned village of Oued Abioud with it's true name being "IGHZER AMELLAL" (The White River)
the picture below shows a sculpted door that dates to the debut of the last century, we used graphic softwares such as Photoshop and Gimp to make it look like an artwork
for our release by duplicating houses and areas via the stamp clone tool, thus simulating a village or a citadel, as well as adding many effects to reinforce the cold and dark feel.
So it's not as many of you thought, it is not inspired by Windir's album "Arntor the Warrior" although it looks like it.
The release will be dedicated to the God of War of the Numidians namely "AGURZIL" and the impact of his legacy on the Numidian's life and habits.

Today we go for an Artwork and tracklist reveal, and it's for our upcoming EP titled "THE SERMON OF AGURZIL" wich will be dedicated to the god of war of the Numidian Amazighs!

We are very proud and honored to have been selected to be a part of this 100% African Metal compilation that will be distributed by the mighty SEASON OF MIST !

ⴰⵣⵓⵍ ⵓⵍⴰ ⴷ ⴽⴻⵏⵡⵉ !

We are thrilled to unveil the artwork for AFRICA.ROCKS’ first-ever physical compilation on CD!

This special release brings together 16 bands from 16 African countries, showcasing rock and metal from North to Southern Africa, including the islands of Madagascar and Reunion.

The compilation will be distributed free of charge across Europe to customers of the French label Season of Mist’s online store. We are deeply grateful to Season of Mist for this incredible opportunity and for helping us bring African rock and metal to an even wider audience.

Production will begin in the coming days, and we will share further details about availability at a later date.

The stunning artwork was created by the incredible South African artist Caitlin Mkhasibe.
