Department of Real Estate, DIU has signed an agreement with the REHAB to conduct in-depth research on the "𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵." Liaquat Ali Bhuiyan, Senior Vice President of REHAB, and Dr. Amir Ahmed, Head of the Department of Real Estate at DIU, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.

Under this agreement, DIU will conduct research on key areas including the real estate sector’s contribution to GDP, the number of flats built and sold annually, housing demand trends, employment statistics, and the overall investment landscape. The findings will be published through REHAB, contributing to informed policy and sustainable growth in the housing sector.

The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Md. Harun Or Rashid, Director of REHAB and Chairman of the Real Estate and Research Standing Committee, and was also attended by Professor Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Dean of the Faculty of Business at DIU.
