Consibio

Søren Jessen Kjær har netop færdiggjort sin civilingeniøruddannelse i kemi og bioteknologi ved AU, og sideløbende med uddannelsen har han været med til at skabe virksomheden Consibio. Consibio udvikler den industrielle IoT-platform MONESCO, der gør det simpelt at digitalisere biologiske processer. I specialet brugte Søren systemet som platform til spildevandsforskning, hvor han undersøgte, hvordan man kan energioptimere spildevandsrensning - well done og tilykke med uddannelsen.

H2S is formed in sewer networks due to the biological activity in biofilm inside sewage pipes. Especially when wastewater is transported over long distances. The consequences are unimaginable, but we can be sure that corrosion and health issues are only a glimpse of the symptoms. It is a global problem and it cannot be solved single handedly.

Together with BBK bio airclean A/S we have equipped one of their biological air filters from top to bottom with sensors connected to our smart platform, Monesco. Now, it becomes possible to make advanced air filtration and data analysis so we can get some in depth knowledge on the biological processes. It may be seen as only a small step, but it is an important one.

Together with BBK, AU Engineering and Nature Energy we are initiating PEAK 2020. That means that our Monesco platform will be in the centre of a demonstration project which seeks to minimize odour emissions from biogas plants at all times. Entreprenørskab i uddannelserne 7000 midtjyske studerende skal have særlig undervisning i iværksætteri - mindst 350 skal starte egen virksomhed.

Johan Egsgaard Thomsen, one of Consibio's co-founders, participated on the AU's Dual Career program. As of now he is a full-time entrepreneur, engineer and one wunderkind! He excels in every field he touches regardless of it being product development, IT, sales or even music! We are thankful to AU Engineering for the awesome event! Johan will motivate the rest of us to continue with Consibio's development and will inspire us to never cease chasing our goals!

We want to share our ventures at TechBBQ. We took part in an investor pitch competition where the judges were leading venture capitalists from São Paulo, Seoul and Shanghai. We won first prize based on our global-scaling potential. Consibio is happy to announce that we will use the prize money as our stepping stone to going global!
