Hello 2023! Driving back after looking at the fireworks in the rain and we rung in the new year, this sight of incredibly azure skies of and around, was a beautiful welcome in itself - but there was more! What started as a sliver of silver lining, pierced through some heavy, dark clouds and shone bright 😍💙🇩🇰 May the year ahead be just as incredible and hopeful as this sight🍀

It was a few years ago, in Colombo. After many sunset photos, I saw these two so immersed in capturing a moment in that golden light 😍 Wonder what they were thinking of - is this how it begins? Or, that there's nothing and nobody else but you? My pragmatic side thinks it was just to get a selfie and head back to the beach before it got too crowded 😁 In any case, I wanted to capture this moment on these white water laced sands of 🇱🇰
