Hoving

My new track “Onward” is the second endeavor into crescendocore territories. Even though it begins as an ambient guitar piece with minimal electronic elements, it builds up into a powerful post-rock climax with a reverberated shoegaze guitar washing through it before gradually slowing down again. It serves as the A-side to “Upward” released two weeks before and together they form “Onward And Upward”.

It is a post-rock track at heart. However, it is not bound to the genre's tropes: It slowly and gradually crescendos, layer by layer, from an ambient soundscape and electric beats into a full blown almost shoegazy sound with overdriven guitar and drums. This way, it evokes a sense of hope, a new beginning after tough times, hence its name.
