A Glimpse into the Past: Nördlingen’s Historic Tower !

“Kirschturm Daniel” - also known as the Daniel Tower, is the iconic bell tower of St. George’s Church in Nördlingen, Germany and was built in the 15th Century. It offers stunning panoramic views of the town and the surrounding Ries Crater, a unique geological formation created by a meteorite impact millions of years ago.

Entry fee for adults is 4 Euros.

Sometimes, the best adventures happen when plans go awry! 🛤️ Our train and bus woes turned into a blessing in disguise, leading us to the breathtaking Wallberg. The panoramic views and sunny weather made it an unforgettable experience. Has anyone else had a similar last-minute hiking adventure?

How to get there ?
1. From Munich Hauptbahnhof take a BRB towards Tegernsee
2. From Tegernsee, take a Bus 390 towards Pertisau Karwendellift, Österreich and get down at Wallberg Wallbergbahn, Rottach-Egern

Finally, from Wallberg Wallbergbahn, Rottach-Egern you can either take a cable car to the summit or can hike !
