International Computer Science Competition

Our ambassador Leo Lu from Richland, United States, shared a glimpse from Falcon Coding Camp, where he introduced 34 enthusiastic middle school students to the International Computer Science Competition! 💻🌍

Together with his student helpers, Leo gave an engaging presentation about ICSC and encouraged the next generation of computer scientists to explore new challenges and opportunities in computer science.

📝 Format of the Final Round
– A timed online exam
– A mix of multiple-choice, short-answer, and coding questions covering computer science and problem-solving
– Questions draw on concepts from all previous rounds
– No penalty for wrong answers
– Rankings are based on Final Round scores, with Pre-Final and Qualification scores as tie-breakers

💻 How the Exam Works
– Taken online via the ICSC exam portal: icscompetition.org/exam
– Works on computer, laptop, or phone
– Monitored via an online supervision system; no teacher supervision required
– Each finalist selects their preferred time slot in advance
