The most underrated innovation hubs in Europe.
When people talk about European innovation, the same cities usually dominate the conversation.
Berlin.
London.
Amsterdam.
Paris.
But some of the most exciting work is happening elsewhere.
Cities like Tallinn.
Graz.
Porto.
Brno.
Vilnius.
Turin.
These ecosystems may not always make headlines, but they're producing ambitious founders, attracting investment and building globally competitive companies.
Innovation isn't confined to a handful of capitals.
It's distributed across the continent.
That's one of Europe's greatest strengths.
Which city do you think deserves more recognition?

Why Europe should pay more attention to India's innovation ecosystem.
For years, conversations about innovation often focused on Silicon Valley, London or Berlin.
Today, another story deserves attention.
India.
Not simply because of the size of its market.
But because of the speed at which innovation is happening.
Across AI.
Manufacturing.
DeepTech.
SaaS.
FinTech.
Climate technology.
The real opportunity isn't asking whether Europe or India will lead.
It's asking how both ecosystems can collaborate more effectively.
European companies bring deep industrial expertise, research and engineering.
India brings scale, entrepreneurial energy and one of the world's fastest-growing digital economies.
The next decade won't belong to one region.
It will belong to those who build bridges between regions.
Where do you see the greatest opportunity for Europe–India collaboration?

Europe doesn't need more startup events.
That statement might sound strange coming from us.
But hear us out.
Europe already has incredible conferences.
Thousands of meetups.
Hundreds of startup festivals.
The real question isn't whether we need another event.
It's whether every event creates lasting value.
Six months later...
How many partnerships survived?
How many pilot projects became contracts?
How many introductions became investments?
How many founders stayed connected?
Success shouldn't end when people leave the venue.
That's why the future of events isn't about becoming bigger.
It's about becoming more meaningful.
What metric do you think event organisers should care about most?

The best conversations at tech events rarely happen on stage.
When people think about conferences, they often picture keynote speakers.
Packed auditoriums.
Big announcements.
Celebrity founders.
But the conversations that change businesses usually happen somewhere else.
Over coffee.
Between sessions.
In a queue.
During an introduction that almost didn't happen.
One conversation can lead to:
• your next customer
• your next investor
• your next hire
• your next business partner
Great events don't create value because of the stage.
They create value because they create opportunities for people who would otherwise never meet.
Networking shouldn't be measured by the number of business cards collected.
It should be measured by the number of meaningful relationships built afterwards.
What's the most valuable connection you've ever made at an event?

Europe's next competitive advantage won't be AI. It'll be collaboration.
Everyone is talking about AI.
And rightly so.
But if you ask what will truly define Europe's competitiveness over the next decade, our answer is different.
Collaboration.
Europe doesn't lack brilliant founders.
It doesn't lack universities producing world-class research.
It doesn't lack investors, accelerators or public funding.
What it often lacks is the ability to connect these pieces quickly enough.
A startup in Warsaw could solve a problem for a manufacturer in Austria.
A university spinout in Portugal could become the technology partner of a German SME.
A Finnish climate-tech company might find its first major customer in Italy.
These opportunities already exist.
The challenge isn't creating them.
It's making them visible.
The next generation of innovation won't be driven by isolated ecosystems trying to outcompete one another.
It will be driven by ecosystems that collaborate across borders.
That's where Europe has a unique advantage.
If you had one idea to make Europe's innovation ecosystem more connected, what would it be? We'd love to hear your perspective.

Unpopular opinion:
Europe doesn't need another startup conference.
It needs more conversations that continue after the conference.
Success shouldn't be measured by registrations alone but by partnerships formed, investments made and businesses built afterwards.
Do you agree?

Today's ecosystem spotlight: Vienna.
From research institutions to startups and global companies, Vienna has quietly become one of Europe's most collaborative innovation hubs. Every ecosystem has something others can learn from.
Which European city should we feature next?

Most people think networking starts when the event begins.
They're already too late.
Successful founders research attendees, schedule meetings before arrival, focus on quality conversations and follow up within 48 hours. Networking isn't about collecting business cards—it's about building relationships.
What's your best networking tip?
Networking is one of the biggest reasons people attend tech events.
If you could leave an event with ONE valuable introduction, who would it be?
• Investor
• Customer
• Corporate Partner
• Future Team Member

Europe doesn't have an innovation problem.
It has a collaboration problem.
Every week Europe celebrates another startup, accelerator or funding round. Yet too many founders, corporates, investors and universities still operate in silos. The next wave of European innovation won't come from creating more isolated ecosystems—it will come from connecting the ones we already have.
At Tech-Summit, we believe meaningful introductions create long-term impact. If you could improve one thing about Europe's innovation ecosystem, what would it be?
