Robe en Faso Dan Fani,
tissus traditionnel Burkinabé.
* Faso Dan Fani translates to "Le pagne tissé de la patrie" (the woven cloth of the homeland) in Dioula, one of the most common dialects in Burkina Faso.
It serves as both a practical fabric and a symbol of national identity.
its roots lie in pre-colonial weaving traditions.
It gained significant national recognition after Burkina Faso's independence in 1960.
Production is entirely manual.
Local cotton is hand-spun, dyed, and woven on traditional looms using ancestral techniques.
Beyond its aesthetic value, the fabric represents the preservation of local craftsmanship and cultural resilience.
