I don’t quite trust this so-called calendar spring yet. In the mornings it’s still around 0°C, and the air hasn’t really warmed up after the winter. So I stick to the sunny side of the street.

Though by the evening I already start wanting to fully give in to the illusion — to bury all my winter clothes deep in the closet and pretend it’s finally over.

But that’s a dangerous self-deception! Don’t do it! You’ll get sick and spend the rest of March rattling around with a runny nose. Stay strong. Do not let yourself undress too early (talking to myself)

First signs of spring in the city, smells dry and dusty. I’m reintroducing photo walks just to get used to the digital baby Fuji. Lots of curves and reflections so far, will see where it takes me.

It takes me years to grow fond of my own photographs.
I have to forget I took them to see their beauty.

And this is something I still have to learn to live with.

There’s something about these halls that feels like stepping into another timeline, dim and cinematic

There are few buildings in Prague I fell in love with immediately.
This is one of them - the former Electrical Enterprises palace.
It's not common for reinforced concrete to be that inspiring (or maybe it's just my recent obsession with functionalism idk) - it's so incredibly lightweight and thought-out that you almost feel to be cared about by the architect.

Dům Radost doesn't really look like joy to me (pretty much the opposite) but it has its own romance - rather dark and mysterious, a haunted office building. And that's why I like it so much - the place is breathing history from every corner.
