We opened up the apartment into one continuous space, where the layout is defined by custom furniture instead of fixed walls.

A central furniture wall with integrated storage and a library separates the bedroom from the living area, with sliding doors on both sides to allow flexibility.

The kitchen and bedroom are connected by an 8-meter-long blue furniture spine, which also conceals the hallway and bathrooms behind hidden doors.

🏢🌿 About the original state:

Before the renovation, the apartment felt like a neutral, generic space, disconnected from the building it sits in. Our aim was to bridge that gap and bring the interior closer to Bjerget’s identity, with its colorful corridors and green terraces.

🚿🚪About the guest bathroom:

Right by the main entrance, the entrance to the guest bathroom takes a slightly unusual approach - a transparent glass door, with only a curtain hiding the person inside.

Since the bathroom is rarely used, it keeps the entry feeling open, while also giving a first hint of the apartment’s bold character as you walk in.

🟦🏃‍♂️ About the blue spine:

A continuous blue furniture element runs across the apartment, forming an 8-meter-long spine from the kitchen to the bedroom. It connects the spaces while hiding the hallway and bathrooms behind blue custom interior doors.
