OpenTalks.AI
Открытая конференция по Искусственному Интеллекту
OpenTalksAI - независимая англоязычная конференция по искусственному интеллекту в России, способствующая интеграции российской науки и бизнеса в международное сообщество искусственного интеллекта.

This year’s partner is the international online language school English Dive In!
English Dive In helps tech professionals optimize their most important interface: the language one. The company goes beyond traditional lessons to help engineers and researchers rewire their brains to process information in English directly — bypassing the inefficient translation layer.
Its method is immersive and personalized: students don’t just study grammar, they debug language in context through topics that matter — from parsing tech talks to discussing ethics in AI in the analytical Movie Club.
The mission of English Dive In is to provide fluency as a tool — the freedom to access research, integrate with global teams, and share work without the latency of translation.
At the Conference, English Dive In is putting theory into practice.
Visitors can come to the stand to experience how language learning trains the brain — the most important muscle. They can challenge themselves with linguistic puzzles, test their focus with the MindFlex neurogame, and see how targeting mindset is the real shortcut to fluency.
English Dive In invites to build neural pathways together.
The future speaks English.

On February 20 at OpenTalks.AI, Dmitry Vetrov, PhD, Professor of Computer Science at Constructor University, will take the stage.
Dmitry will present a talk on the surprising connection between deep learning and thermodynamics.
During neural network training, the stochastic optimization of the loss function turns out to closely resemble the behavior of classical thermodynamical systems. By analyzing stochastic differential equations that describe the evolution of a (scale-invariant) neural network, one can derive the properties of its stationary state, which strikingly resemble the ideal gas law.
The talk introduces thermodynamic analogues such as temperature, pressure, and volume for neural networks, and demonstrates how thermodynamic potentials, including Gibbs and Helmholtz free energies, are minimized during training under widely used optimization protocols.
Notably, Dmitry is one of the few professors who has 8 (!) PhD students currently working at DeepMind.
📍 Don’t miss one of the most conceptually elegant talks of the conference!

19-20 Feb, Belgrade, OpenTalks.AI
The topic of AI agents is now the mainstream of the industry. And preferably not just agents, but those which will conduct scientific research themselves and create even more powerful agents!) Of course we have a whole track about them!
Tatiana Shavrina (LLama team, you know where she works)) will give an overview of AI agents and especially for scientific tasks, and Andrey Ustyuzhanin (Constructor University) will talk about their AI agent, which builds hypotheses, reads literature, makes calculations, and also sets up experiments! Roma Doronin (Optic) will talk about how the biopharma works and where AI agents are really payed for, and Andrey Kuzminykh (Andre AI) will tell you about the new generation of AI agents!
A lot of interesting and relevant talks and networking awaits for you! There will also be topics about GenAI, LLM, RL, CV, intelligence and consciousness! But we will write about them separately!)

Meet the general partner of OpenTalks.AI-2026 – Spectral::Technologies!
The Spectral::Technologies team is engaged in high-frequency trading (HFT): it develops low-latency infrastructure and ML-driven strategies for trading in markets around the world. He also actively supports the School of Engineering and Mathematics through partnerships with strong technical universities and scientific organizations (HSE, ITMO, St. Petersburg State University, NMU), grants and open courses.
HFT is an environment of extraordinary technological and intellectual competition. The competition takes place every day at microsecond speeds, and no solution is final: markets are constantly changing, and ideas live only until other players figure out how to get around them.
At the conference, you will be able to get acquainted with the industry. The talk “Machine Learning in HFT: Winning in an Ultra-Competitive Market” will be delivered by Quantitative Researchers from their team. In the talk, you will learn:
• What are the fundamental principles of Machine Learning in the high-frequency trading industry?;
• What role ML can play in trading;
• What is more important – to be fast or smart, and also why markets are not just tabular data.
Employees of HFT companies rarely speak publicly, and this is a good opportunity to learn more about ML in one of the most closed industries in the technology sector.

Meet the speakers of OpenTalks.AI-2026!
Dr. Evgeny Izhikevich, the founder of the field of spike networks and neuromorphic computing, will talk at OpenTalks.AI about his new work “Spiking Manifesto”. This work offers a new fast algorithm for calculating spike networks, with which you can convert ordinary deep networks (say Transformers) into the spike network format and get a speed increase of up to 1000 times!
In addition to this talk we will have a separate session on neuromorphic computing and several sessions on computational optimization.
There will also be topics about AI agents, GenAI, LLM, RL, CV, intelligence and consciousness! But we will write about them separately!
