The story of the all-steel before with its magnificent bracelet started about 45 years ago. That’s when Cartier introduced the modern re-interpretation of the original Santos Dumont. The late George Cramer gave a good overview of the evolution of his beloved Santos until it was discontinued in 2016. And then, in 2018, Cartier launched the current version of the Santos. It now has that divisive polished bezel that flows into the brushed bracelet instead of being square like before.
