As Cameroon's light rainy season continues, the Abiergue drainage channel in Yaoundé has become severely silted, reducing its drainage capacity and threatening the safety of local residents and their homes. The CFHEC project team quickly coordinated with the client and supervision unit, activated an emergency response, deployed machinery, and organized personnel to clear the sludge and waste in the rain. The channel was successfully dredged, effectively preventing the risk of flooding.
