Recently, former provincial governor and Member of Parliament John Kabeya Shikai led a delegation to inspect the Kananga Erosion Control Project. The delegation visited the construction site to assess progress on the ground, and gave high praise to the project's quality and appearance. Kabeya noted that the once severely eroded land has now been restored to a level condition, with some areas even safe for vehicles — a remarkable improvement compared to the past. This project is a key flood-control initiative in Kananga, and once completed, it will strengthen the city's flood defense, improve the local ecological environment, and enhance regional disaster prevention capabilities.

Recently, the KB-2 Project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, undertaken by CFHEC, successfully passed its preliminary acceptance, marking a significant milestone for this important transport infrastructure. The project is a key section of National Highway No. 1, connecting the capital Kinshasa with the western hub of Kenge. Once operational, it will greatly enhance regional transport capacity, improve the national road network, and boost economic development along the route while improving travel conditions and contributing to social stability.

Recently, the emergency rehabilitation project for the landslide-affected section of Cameroon's RN06 National Highway in Dschang successfully passed its completion inspection. RN06 is a critical transport artery connecting the West, Littoral, and Northwest regions, and an essential link for regional economic activity and livelihoods. The road had been blocked for two years due to a landslide, forcing travelers to take a 110-kilometer detour. With the project now complete, this key route has been reopened, removing a major bottleneck and providing reliable support for local residents and economic recovery.

Recently, the Awaé–Soa Road Rehabilitation Project (AES Road Project) in Cameroon successfully passed its completion inspection. Located in the Mefou-et-Afamba Department of the Central Region, the project spans approximately 82 kilometers and serves as a vital link between the capital, Yaoundé, and the East Region. It is also a key livelihood project for the local area. The scope of work included earthworks, pavement, drainage, culverts, traffic safety facilities, and environmental protection measures. Upon completion, the project will address long-standing road deficiencies across 22 villages and towns along the route, significantly improving travel conditions, boosting regional trade and logistics, and revitalizing the rural economy.
