The 2025/26 season just wrapped, and the farewell tour is in full swing. Clubs across Europe are saying goodbye to legends, captains, and fan-favorites as contracts expire and new projects begin. Here are the top players hanging up their club shirts this summer:

Premier League Farewells • Mohamed Salah – Liverpool

After 9 years, 257 goals, and 9 trophies at Anfield, the Egyptian King confirmed in March he’s leaving Liverpool. His last appearance is expected to be at home vs Brentford. Anfield won’t be the same.

• Andy Robertson – Liverpool

Another 9-year Red. Robbo’s exit was confirmed last month after winning 9 trophies on Merseyside. Tottenham have a verbal agreement to sign him, depending on their PL status.

• Ibrahima Konate – Liverpool

Konate’s contract expires at the end of June. Real Madrid have been monitoring him, though Konate recently said he and Liverpool are ‘close to an agreement’ over a new deal. One to watch.

• Adam Reynolds – Brisbane Broncos (NRL)

The veteran halfback announced 2026 will be his last year in the NRL.

• Payne Haas – Brisbane Broncos

The 26-year-old prop agreed terms with South Sydney Rabbitohs from 2027, a massive blow for Brisbane.

Across Europe • Harry Kane – Bayern Munich

Rumors swirling: Lamine Yamal and Raphinha have reportedly given their “seal of approval” to Barcelona’s extravagant acquisition of Kane. Nothing confirmed, but the noise is loud.

• Dušan Vlahović – Juventus

José Mourinho has requested Vlahović ahead of his soon-to-be confirmed arrival at Real Madrid.

• Levi Colwill – Chelsea

Barcelona and Real Madrid have been surprisingly linked with Chelsea’s returning center back.

• Harvey Elliott – Liverpool

Expected to be made available for $33.6m. Leeds United and Coventry City linked. Championship & Lower Leagues

• Nathaniel Chalobah – Sheffield Wednesday

The former England star, 31, is without a club as relegated Sheffield Wednesday released 8 players. Chalobah became the nation’s highest capped development player with almost 100 appearances at all levels.

• Dominic Iorfa – Sheffield Wednesday

Saying farewell after 7 years and 222 appearances for the Owls.
