๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ THE PHARAOHS ARE RISING: A LESSON IN LEADERSHIP, VISION, AND NATIONAL PRIDE

Congratulations to the Pharaohs of Egypt on a magnificent 3โ€“1 victory over New Zealand!

This victory is more than just three points. It is a reflection of what purposeful leadership, long-term planning, and national investment in sports can achieve.

For years, Egypt has consistently remained one of Africaโ€™s football powerhouses. That success is no accident. It is built on strong football institutions, investment in youth development, quality coaching, and a leadership that understands that sport is an instrument of national unity and international prestige.

As Africans, we should celebrate every success achieved by one of our own. Egyptโ€™s victory reminds us that when a nation believes in excellence and prepares accordingly, the results speak for themselves.

To the Pharaohs, keep marching. Continue making Africa proud. May this victory be another step toward an even greater World Cup journey.

Congratulations, Egypt! Africa stands with you. ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐ŸŒโšฝ

AFRICA STANDS WITH CAPE VERDE & EGYPT: ๐ŸŒ ONE CONTINENT. ONE HEART. ONE DREAM.

Today, the hopes of Africa rest once again on the shoulders of Cape Verde ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ป and Egypt ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ as they take to the field in pursuit of a place in the Round of 32 of the FIFA World Cup.

Regardless of our nationality, language, religion, or region, today is another opportunity for Africa to stand united behind our own. Every victory by an African nation is a victory for the entire continent. Every point earned strengthens the belief that Africa belongs among footballโ€™s elite.

Cape Verde has already shown remarkable courage against some of the worldโ€™s biggest football nations, while Egypt carries the hopes of millions of Africans eager to see our continent represented deep into this tournament.

Let us therefore put aside our differences and rally behind these two proud nations.

From Cape Town to Cairoโ€ฆ
From Praia to Yaoundรฉโ€ฆ
From Dakar to Nairobiโ€ฆ
From Lagos to Addis Ababaโ€ฆ

Africa must stand as one.

We wish Cape Verde and Egypt strength, determination, and victory as they fight for qualification.

Go Cape Verde! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ป
Go Egypt! ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ
Go Africa! ๐ŸŒ

๐Ÿ‘” A FATHERโ€™S HAND TODAY SHAPES A NATION TOMORROW

Today, as the world celebrates Fatherโ€™s Day, I pay tribute to every father who quietly sacrifices, protects, teaches, and leads. Fathers are not merely providers of material needs; they are builders of character, guardians of values, and the first mentors of future generations.

Across Africa, countless fathers wake up every morning carrying the weight of their families on their shoulders. Many work tirelessly, often without recognition, to ensure their children receive an education, develop discipline, and grow into responsible men and women. Their sacrifices rarely make headlines, but they are the foundation upon which strong families and prosperous nations are built.

A nation cannot produce responsible leaders if fathers are absent from the upbringing of their children. The values of honesty, integrity, respect, courage, patriotism, and service are first taught at home. Behind every great son or daughter is often a father who chose responsibility over convenience.

Unfortunately, African fathers are too often celebrated only within their homes and not by society. It is time we gave fathers the recognition they deserve. We must encourage responsible fatherhood, strengthen families, and restore the dignity of the African father.

As I reflect on my own journey with my beloved son, I am reminded that fatherhood is one of Godโ€™s greatest gifts and one of lifeโ€™s greatest responsibilities. Every smile, every lesson, every embrace is an investment in the future.

When, by the grace of God and the will of the Cameroonian people, I become President of the Republic of Cameroon, I will advocate for Fatherโ€™s Day to be officially recognized as a national public holiday. Fathers deserve not only appreciation but national recognition for the indispensable role they play in building families, communities, and the Republic itself.

To every father:
Keep loving.
Keep leading.
Keep protecting.
Keep believing.

History may not always record your sacrifices, but your children and your nation will live because of them.

Happy Fatherโ€™s Day to all the amazing fathers across Cameroon, Africa, and the world!
