On day one of the Makerspace Open Day, we launched a design challenge with two teams competing. Participants were asked to come up with any design they wanted and bring it to life.

To support them, our Makerspace team served as copilots guiding those who were new to the design software. At the end, a winner emerged from the two groups. After the challenge, the winning design was printed using a laser machine.

A participant with no tech background joined out of pure curiosity. Her engagement and excitement stood out she was thrilled to take part and is already eager to come back for more.

Our Design Challenge Judge, Mr. Jay, shared powerful insights on the importance of creating opportunities that help young people understand design beyond aesthetics.

He highlighted how initiatives like the Design Thinking Bootcamp are shaping a new generation of problem solvers young creatives who are learning to think critically, empathize with users, and build meaningful solutions for their communities.

For many participants, this was more than just a workshop. It was a chance to finally experience a structured approach to design, innovation, and real-world problem solving.

One of the most exciting innovations showcased during the Nervtek Makerspace Open Door Day was the Ntron Kit an innovative learning kit designed to make robotics and embedded systems more accessible and interactive.

As a product of Nervtek, the Ntron Kit reflects how practical learning tools can inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers.

From robotics to immersive experiences, the VR gaming and drone piloting section at the Nervtek Makerspace Open Door Day brought technology and entertainment together in an exciting way.

Participants had the opportunity to explore virtual reality, interact with digital environments, and experience firsthand how VR technology is transforming learning, gaming, and innovation.

One powerful reflection from Arnold Sigala’s session was the conversation around problem-solving and responsibility.

Too often, many young people dream only of leaving the country, while the real challenges around us remain unsolved.

We have to choose to look closely at our communities, understand the problems people face daily, and intentionally create solutions for them.

Design thinking teaches us that change starts with empathy, action, and the willingness to build where we are.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We would like to officially inform you of an update in the tuition fees for the Holiday Tech Camp (HTC) 2026 edition organized by Nervtek Education.

Over the years, HTC has grown into a more impactful and engaging technology learning experience for young people, with improvements in curriculum quality, practical training, learning resources, project-based activities, and overall program delivery.

As part of preparations for HTC 2026, the tuition fees have been adjusted as follows:
• Buea: 80,000 FCFA
• Bamenda: 30,000 FCFA
• Maroua: 25,000 FCFA

These adjustments will support enhanced training experiences, improved learning materials, better operational support, and a more impactful environment for participants.

We sincerely appreciate your trust and continued support and look forward to welcoming another exciting cohort for HTC 2026.
