Aitutaki Animal Rescue

It is DRY and HOT. Do you animals have SHADE and WATER ? Please don't leave goats, pigs or cows in direct sun without shade or water. The grass has NO water in it for the goats. Please ,if you can, put them near a tree or bush and give them water daily during the dry season.

URGENT URGENT I need cat cages to be brought to me NOW pls, if possible. We have a vet clinic and all the cages are GONE. Please I NEED some returned. Got one at home? Bring in. No questions asked, even better if it has a cat in it !!!!!

LAST vet visit for THIS YEAR. Friday, steph's house. FREE please please PLEASE bring your cat and kittens. tell yr family and friends to bring theirs. After Friday, cats will need to go to RARO to see the vet until 2026. Please help me. Can you share this post on your page?? lets get the news out there.

Steph CANNOT take in more kittens. Her house is now full to the roof top with cats and kittens !!!! Sorry.
We MUST desex all the cats we can because there are still SO SO many UNWANTED kittens being born. I Physically and financially I cannot take any in more kittens. If you would like a kitten ,please let me know.

What happens if I don't desex my male cat? He will have the STRONG urges to mate, fight and make babies. He will have a hard life of wounds, infections, wandering and health problems, his life will be shorter. A desexed male cat is a HEALTHIER cat, he will still hunt but will be healthier and live a longer, better life. Care for the boy cats, let's desex them. VET HERE FRIDAY.

First rescue kitty of this season, maybe 10 days old, was found behind Kayla's store, bottle feeding this cutie but will need some TLC. So thakful we had donations of kitten milk in preparation. Please tell kids that if they pat a kittne to leave it with the mumma, or if the remove it to take it back to the mum. Without mummy it will die very quickly. This is Kayla's baby and im sure soon he will be a big boy and will be able to go live in his new home.

The lovely Paradise Cove kitty who Emma befriended and he vsitied the vet. Full treatments, ,pats and loves, flea and worm treatment, antibiotic paste and eye cream. Such a sweet friendly boy who is now feeling much better. Thank you Te Are Manu Vet Clinic who send our wonderful vet Katie Bird over to help all the Aitutaki animals.

Lovely Emma visited Aitutaki and notified me of two cats needing vet assistance. One cutie boy living at Paradise Cove had meds for his eye, flea and worm treatment and was returned. The other gorgeous ginger boy was in a terrible condition with dehydration and severe kidney problems and after big cuddles, we had to end his pain for him.
Emma has raised $AUD 545 for use in Mr Gingers name. We are SO excited as we get quite a few ginger cats, by visit or trap, to help and we would LOVE to buy some flea treatments which are so darned expensive!!! Here's some pics of recent Ginger's we have helped.
