For the third challenge, we were to create an impactful poster that brings awareness to entrepreneurship and the DNA of hospitality. We here present our poster and the meaning behind it:

The phoenix bird symbolizes immortality, resurrection, and life after death. Due to the pandemic, the hospitality industry has been tested, making it prominent that we unite and come out of this stronger. The hospitality industry has always been known as traditional, however, due to Covid it has been pushed to take more advantage of the technology being delivered. The Phoenix symbolizes a new era within hospitality where we have the possibility to take advantage of entrepreneurship and innovation.

«What does the future of the hospitality industry look like?»

This year's topic is INTRAPRENEURSHIP. The topic is inspired by how hospitality and DNA constantly adapt and change based on their surroundings. Looking further into our industry, we can see how various impacts have affected the outcome now being served, recently a world pandemic.

The key to success is the ability to boost our mindset, increasing innovative and creative thinking. What makes the people in our industry unique, is our point of view—seeing a challenge more as an opportunity.

Giving us a real challenge, this truly encourages our team’s motivation! 💪

What is the ?

We have gotten a lot of questions about what the EMCup is about and how it is to be performed. So to shortly brief you all, the EMCup is a challenge between the top Hospitality Schools in Europe. We are to compete against each other in various challenges, regarding a given topic. Different challenges we are to be given are submitting a paper, preparing a pitch, participating in a debate, and hopefully if we are one of the last teams standing it will be a bigger presentation where one winner will be announced.
