A pretty great group of people to hang with for a few days at the 2025 Canadian Cowboys Association Finals. Great show from start to finish as the contestants delivered on the arena floor night after night and the production crew was top level.
Congratulations to all of this years champions… and a special congratulations to the hard working group of people from the Tisdale Senior Ramblers rodeo! 40 yrs of committment has paid off in being named the “2025 (small) Rodeo of the Year”. Happy to be a small part of it!

I first met members of Hanover Ag at the CCA rodeo convention just over ten years ago. Someone had told them they should hire me as an announcer even though I had never worked a CCA sanctioned rodeo. I agreed to make the trip east and since then, every August, we continue to travel back to Hanover Ag for the Crossfire Bullriding event that is held there. Members of Hanover Ag also make the trip west to work at our Bronc Match in Weyburn. It’s funny how committees can become close friends and extended family. Proud to be a part of Hanover Ag!

If you have been to a bull riding event at Hanover Ag, chances are you have heard Robert Schmidt Rodeo Announcing's voice. Fun Fact: Robert's first paid gig was announcing at the Hanover Ag Fair!

He is a three-time Bull Riders Canada Finals Announcer, seven-time Canadian Cowboys Association Finals Announcer, three-time Canadian High School Finals Rodeo announcer, and has announced at many other shows like the Rocky Mountain Cup at the Calgary Stampede, PBR Elite Canada Cup on TSN, Maple Leaf Circuit Finals, and of course countless Bull Riders Canada and Crossfire Bullriding events. Simply put, Robert Schmidt is one of the best on the mic. A legend, if you will.

Robert isn't just an announcer in the rodeo world; he also created and produced his own event - the Outlaw Buckers and Oil Kings Match Bronc Riding.

He must like us, because no matter how high he climbs in the rodeo announcing world, he always comes back to Grunthal- something we hope he does for many years to come.

Jill and the crew are as passionate as they come to produce their rodeo. It’s an honour to work the only professionally sanctioned, regular season rodeo in Sask! Thank you for having me in Kennedy!

Flying home this morning from the Teepee Creek Stampede! Another outstanding weekend full of rodeo, Chuckwagons and music. The Teepee Creek committee members and volunteers are second to none as they strive to put on one of the biggest and best rodeos in Canada. Congratulations to this years, champions! We all look forward to what is to come in the future at the Teepee Creek Stampede Pro Rodeo!
