Founded in 2023 by Ovie Lawrenchuk and Samuel Cadelina, Sól began as a food truck serving vibrant Asian-fusion rice bowls.
Today, we’ve expanded to offer dine-in, takeout, and catering services. Our menu is thoughtfully crafted to be entirely gluten, nut, and dairy-free. We also offer vegetarian and vegan options, ensuring that everyone can find something they’ll love. Come visit Sól Bistro at 940 Vimy Road (Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club) or catch Sól Food Truck at community markets, local events, and festivals around Winnipeg this summer.

Since “ber” months are coming up, here is our version on Putobumbong! Taro mochi cake topped with shredded coconut, filipino cheese and muscavado sugar.
Available at our food truck located at the Outlet Mall for the summer of Locals, and at our restaurant inside Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club located at 940 Vimy Road.
