Today we created space for self-care and self-love đ
Folks received haircuts, styling, braids, and manicures â and helped create and share love notes filled with positive messages.
Grateful to the students and staff at for generously sharing their time and skills, and to for helping spread kindness and mental health awareness in our community.

Men Let's Talk is a peer-led menâs support group, to make connections, share, and talk about a variety of topics, including:â

- Staying socialâ
- Conflict resolutionâ
- Toxic masculinityâ

Whether you had a chance to secure a free ticket or not- come meet us at Dakota Community Centre!
Time and date: October 9th, 10am-3pm
Location: 1188 Dakota Street (Dakota Community Centre)
We'll have door prizes and over 40 organizations in attendance, sharing their resources and information!

Sara Riel is partnering again with fellow community organizations to put together a Fall Feast. Like feasts previous, we are making a call for donations!
Donations from this drive will be given to community members attending the feast. If you want to contribute, the following items are being accepted:
đ Hygiene products
đ Gently used winter supplies (i.e. gloves, hats, jackets)
đ Gently used Halloween costumes
đ Perishables
đ Menstrual products
These items can be delivered to either Dustin at Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre (363 McGregor St) or Sonya at Rainbow Resource Centre (514 St. Mary Ave).
We thank you for your generosity leading up to this community event!
