There has been a lot of colour in the studio lately. Beads of pink, blues, lilacs and greens. Small joys that gave me such energy despite the grey days of the end of winter.
One bead at a time.
One knot at a time.
And now, we’re so close…
…next week our new collection will be live. 🩷

Sitting down at my kitchen table in the last few weeks I have found real joy.
Turning colours over in my mind. Dreaming.
Pouring out beads into little dishes.
A feeling of renewal, even when I’m not entirely sure where it’s all leading.
I wrote about it in my latest Substack.

It’s that time of year…when you start to feel a shift, even if it’s still a little hidden. (Under more snow! 😧)
A bit more light.
A bit more colour calling.
A sense that something is slowly waking up.
Spending the afternoon with my beads, following that feeling.
Spring arrives tomorrow!! 🌱
Slow morning, warm mug, light through the window.
A quiet moment before everything else.
Beginning the week softly. 🤍

Flowers are an expression of love and it couldn’t be more true with these. 🩷
A labour of love from the whole family for Erica & Gareth.
Last Thursday, Al and Sydney drove over an hour east to pick up the most beautiful, just-picked dahlias from Then the two of them made it their mission, to not let me carry anything or even bend down to pick a flower from a bucket, so as not to aggravate my back for the wedding. To helping me make 17 table arrangements and 5 large arrangements for outdoor.
And then family and friends setting up the tables and flowers at the reception hall.
It was all a beautiful thing.
💕
These flowers have been through a lot of transport back and forth, to here, the wedding venue, outside for hours and then back home the next day. It is only today (1 week after receiving) that the dahlias have run their course and the roses too. Some of the others (alstroemeria, carnations, wax flower, Queen Anne’s Lace) still looking good.
I have very few photos because we were in work mode. Looking forward to seeing some of the professional photos in a few weeks.

It is with a heavy heart that I need to pause all shipments to the US. The new tariffs coming August 29th are significant, and the border requirements bring a lot of uncertainty.
As a jewelry designer, with components and gemstones sourced from around the world, it has created challenges too big for a small business like mine to manage right now.
I love making jewelry and sending it to you — over the years you’ve become not just customers but friends. That’s why this makes me so sad.
Ultimately, I don’t want you to face unexpected charges, delays at the border, returns or possible lost shipments in this mess.
LAST day for US orders is August 21st.
Hopefully, in the near future there is some relief for small businesses and shipments can be restarted.
Until then, please know how much I appreciate you and your support over the last 17 years. 🇺🇸

Movement, to me, means freedom.
A returning to myself. A loosening of expectations.
Not quietly shrinking, but expanding - pink and vibrant and wrapped in light.
Letting go of how it looks, what they’ll thing, and just being me.
Vibrant. Alive. Free.
