My gorgeous client (and one of my favourite humans) shot the new merch for 🍻👕 I just had the honour of making the hair magic happen 💇🏼‍♀️ Here’s a little sneak peek at the shoot with — and I’m obsessed with how it all came together.

I had the absolute pleasure of being part of this beauty’s engagement photo prep, and wow did she show up! We added two rows of extensions for fullness and length, custom-blended her colour for that seamless match, and gave her a timeless, romantic style that held perfectly through her shoot.

Two years sober today.

Two years ago, I was barely holding on. I had lost myself completely. I was drowning in pain, clinging to people and patterns that were destroying me. I lost my dad. I lost the only people I thought truly cared about me. And truthfully — I almost lost myself, too.

Alcohol was the only “friend” I had left — the one that stuck around through the wreckage. The one I got into the most trouble with. The one who knew all my darkest secrets. But that kind of friend comes with a price, and I was done paying it.

Sobriety ripped my life open. It forced me to see everything clearly — the relationships that weren’t real, the masks I wore, the pain I numbed, the people I tried so hard to keep who never really showed up for me. And letting go of all that? It broke me. Because choosing healing means choosing loss before you ever feel the gain.

But sometimes everything has to fall apart… so it can fall back together the way it was always meant to.

I’m still finding myself. Still learning how to trust peace. Still learning how to feel without running. But what I do know is this — I’m not who I was. Not two years ago. Not yesterday. And that is something I’m damn proud of.

Now I’m rebuilding — with the right people, the right energy, and the right love. There’s no more space for judgment, fake support, or side-eyes. We’re here to lift each other up. We owe it to ourselves to live our fullest, most honest lives.
