Unbreakable Strength
We help hungry powerlifters train smarter and harder so they can beat their rivals, set records and win meets

If you’re serious about getting stronger, time to change these habits.
It gets really clear when you hang around the best lifters in the country (and the world), which I've done.
They don’t skip accessories, and they give them the same respect as their squat, bench and deadlift work.
They don’t overshoot RPE because they were chasing numbers.
They don’t pick their coach because they were cheap or because of their IG clout.
They don’t stay up late binging shows on Netflix or HBO.
They don’t expect to reach their peak performance by sleeping like s**t and gassing up on energy drinks.
And yet so many other lifters do all those and more.
Let me be clear: I’m not here to judge.
If you’re happy with where you’re at and where you’re going, I’m psyched for you.
What I am here to do is extend an invitation if you feel stuck, frustrated or stagnant.
Like you’ve got potential that you’re trying to unlock but you just aren’t sure how.
Usually it takes a few simple tweaks to your training, nutrition and recovery to make the PR’s start raining again.
The trick is knowing what buttons to push and when.
If you’re ready to push the PR button and make sure you get drug tested at your next meet, DM me “PR” to book a call and start step 1!

If you’re a powerlifter, this is for you.
Life is like a baseball pitcher. Sometimes it lobs us an easy hit. Other times it whips a curve ball at our heads.
And the longer I’ve lifted, the clearer it gets: it’s not gonna stop. Ever.
So stop waiting for the “right time” or for life to “slow down a bit.”
Why not use that time to get jacked?
And don’t get it twisted, either. I’m not saying that everything is an excuse.
I hate it when coaches and trainers say that s**t.
There are things that feel overwhelming. Starting a new job, having kids, dealing with loss and mental health struggles to name a few.
When things are outside of your control like that, you only get to decide how you respond to them.
Most of us have people in our lives who seem okay with pointing the finger at the reasons they’re not where they want to be.
We get tired of hearing that story over and over.
But it’s scary how fast WE turn into the person telling that same story.
I’m not saying you need to be perfect. Actually, I’m saying perfect doesn’t exist.
I’m also inviting you to stop waiting on whatever you’re waiting on.
There is no “right time.” But right now is pretty good.
And whatever you’re up against, I believe that you’re stronger.

Only OG’s will understand.
What’s your go-to preworkout these days?

Stop settling for less than you deserve.
If you want to get jacked, smoke new PR's and stop letting injuries make you feel like s**t, let's go.
I've helped hundreds of lifters to come back from injury stronger than they were before.
I'll do the same for you.
I'll help you turn old PR's into warmup weights and make your gym friends ask what you're doing differently.
I'll help you walk into the gym like you own the place and remember what it's like to love your training again.
All on your terms and on your schedule.
Sound good?
DM me "Let's go!" to chat with me and book a call to get started now!

“As a Physical Therapist, I spend the day programming exercise for every client of mine that walks in the door.
I love my job and all I get to do, but it leaves me very little time (and interest) in programming workouts for myself at the end of the day.
Some friends/fellow PT's had mentioned Jared on various occasions.
I was interested, but I felt like I was too inexperienced, too weak, and too new to weightlifting to need a coach.
But after talking to Jared, I only became more excited about the prospect of getting stronger and better at weightlifting.
Now, my workouts are PURPOSEFUL - a huge thing I was lacking in my previous training.
I'm getting stronger, getting great feedback, communicating openly and frequently with Jared regarding all things related to my training.
And I get to be a part of an amazing community of fitness focused individuals who are just as eager as I am to get strong!”
If you feel too new, too weak, and too inexperienced to get a coach like Nichole did, you’re not alone.
And like she found out, none of that is true.
There’s no such thing as “strong enough” to get a coach. No such thing as “too new” or “too weak” to get a coach either.
A good coach helps you get “strong enough” to be confident and proud of yourself.
They help you avoid the mistakes most new lifters make and get jacked faster than everyone else.
They help you fall in love with lifting and all the things it does for you.
So stop waiting. The time is now, if you’re ready.
And I think you might be.
DM me “COACH” and get ready to make gains as fast as Nichole did!

Good powerlifting coaches aren’t trying to be your friend. They’re also not assholes.
They tell you what you need to hear, and sometimes it’s not what you want to hear.
But they do that because they believe in you. They see greatness waiting to be unlocked, and they know you have the key.
They’re invested in your success and they’re willing to tell it like it is because they care enough about you.
Find you a coach like that. Amen?

If you’re a busy lifter working full time, keeping your kids mostly intact and trying to get stronger, this is for you.
The more I talk to lifters, the more I hear this story.
In some way, shape or form, it’s the same.
And it’s not your fault. It’s not anyone’s fault. Life gonna life, y’know?
But there’s a way to cover up the Achilles heel that all busy lifters have.
I’ve had to work hard to cover my own. Some days are better than others.
But I’m here to tell you that you can do it. And when you do, you'll feel friggin incredible.
Check the carousel for the skinny.
If you’re ready to break the start-stop cycle and just make some big ass gains, DM me “GAINS” to book a call with me now!

When you're losing your sight, you think about the future a lot.
That's what's happening to me. I have a disease called choroideremia that's slowly eating away my eyesight.
So I think a lot about what lessons I want to teach my daughters.
One of them is giving the metaphorical finger to people and things who make them feel weak and less than.
I want to show them that they're strong. That they belong here as much as any other person.
I want them to know in their bones that "If Daddy says I'm strong, then I'm strong."
That's part of my mission.
Not just to walk the walk and invite my daughters to walk their own paths of strength.
But also to help you do that too.
Because I wonder what happens if you feel strong enough to show up for your family the way you want to.
What moments and lessons will that help you create?
What memories will it allow you to make, where people think of you and say "They're one of the strongest people I know."
That's what I think about every single day before I start my work.
And it's what I'm here to help you do.

This is about more than bench arches.
I've been blessed to work with a lot of lifters at this point. Many of them are women.
And I keep hearing that one of the biggest barriers to them getting in the gym was fear of judgement.
Can you imagine wanting to get in the gym after getting inspired by watching IPF Worlds?
Seeing some strong ass women doing strong ass things and want to be part of that too?
And then to run face first into comments that disparage, break down and build barriers?
We gotta do better. Better for everyone, but this is a thing that affects women more.
There's too much at stake. Worse yet, these barriers get built for no other reason than to protect fragile egos.
If egos gotta break to make room for more people in the gym, I'm cool with that.
Share if you agree.

When Dave had knee surgery in high school, his doc and PT told him never to squat again.
So he didn’t for about 7 years.
In PT school, he started dabbling with squats but was afraid to go heavy or deep.
Then he hurt his back, and since then he’s struggled to hit depth and feel confident under a heavy bar.
But after teaming up, Dave went 3/3 on squats for the first time ever in a competition at the end of last year.
He’s hitting higher weights than the one that hurt his back on, and making it look easy.
And he’s burying them so deep even internet trolls have to admit they’re legit.
The biggest win is his confidence, though.
He’s not scared of heavy squats anymore. They’re “his lift” (even if he likes bench and deads better, lol)
My mission is to make every lift feel like “your lift.”
To warm up with weights that used to scare you or hurt you, and make you feel free to go as heavy as you want.
My life changed when someone did that for me. Now I’m paying it back.
If you’re ready to feel at home under a heavy bar again, DM me “SQUAT” and I'll get started on your custom roadmap today!
🏋️♀️ 💪🏻
Your program probably isn’t the reason your lifts stalled out.
Every now and then I see a really terribly written program and it hurts my soul. But most are decent.
So why is it that so many lifters run decent-looking programs and wind up with nothing to show for it after 8-12 weeks?
Look at the best lifters in the world and what they have in common.
The biggest thing is they have a coach or coaches behind them to guide, support and push.
Find me a national or world champion who just runs a templated program solo.
Because at a certain point it’s not just about the words and numbers on a page.
It’s about getting feedback on what you’re doing well and what to focus on next.
Someone who can tweak things along the way so you stay in the pocket and keep adding weight to the bar.
It’s about having someone you trust tell you when to cool your jets and when to put the pedal down.
That’s what a template or AI program will never be able to do.
So if you feel like you’re stuck and you've only run templates, it’s time for a change.
It might feel a little new and scary, but it’ll be worth it when the gains start rolling in again.
Shout out to smoking this squat at his last meet! Stay tuned to hear more about why this is a big deal in the next post!
💪🏻
If you’ve been hurt 2 or more times by a lift, you need to ask why.
But don’t stop doing it. That’s where most lifters get it wrong.
And it’s not their fault. It seems like every health professional says lifting heavy will break you.
I call BS.
Instead, you need to look for patterns. Do certain weights on the bar hurt? Certain volumes?
Does it have more to do with position, ROM or speed? All these are pieces of the puzzle.
When I kept hurting my back on deadlifts, I realized that it was when the bar got to my mid-shin.
My back would round off the floor and when it got a few inches up, my back would say “Nah.”
That gave me the tools I needed to train in a way that turned my weak point into my strong suit.
What if the lift you’re scared of turned into the one you were most excited to train?
How would it feel if you stopped being afraid of getting hurt in the gym?
If your only worry was whether you're gonna PR by 5 or 10 lbs this week?
There’s a way to do it that doesn’t involve time off from the gym, PT appointments or Instagram mobility drills.
If you want in on it, DM me “LIFT” and I’ll send it over!
