Say bonjour to Ryan, Ryan is the lead singer and guitarist in DUUST. He is the main creative force in the project. He has the tendency to have a billion+ ideas on the go at once and probably needs to meditate more. He gets the bulk of his joy from creating, skating and debating. Formerly of Rebelle & Farewell Davidson, he’s looking to take what he has learned and push the boundaries of his own song writing and dive into eclectic sonics and textures. When he’s not writing or creating, he is likely horizontal on a couch or a bed somewhere or pushing his old knees at the skatepark. With a passion for aesthetics, design and DIY, he’s hoping to let his guards down and put his art in front of the public eye with help from his incredible bandmates and other local artists and creators. He also likes to write in third person about himself on social media posts. Say hey, hello, what’s up to Alex, Alex rips the kit in DUUST. He is a chef extrarordinaire, lover of washy sonic textures and a bit of an audio geek. He runs @lunchboxfm studios and has been graciously working away for the past year on this project to get all of these songs (coming soon) 👀 tracked, arranged and in your earholes. When he’s not in his studio making noise and playing with Chase Bliss pedals or helping piece together fragments of DUUST songs, you’ll probably see him on the golf course with a michloeb ultra or 2 or cooking dope food for a pop-up. Say hi to Scott, Scott plays a mean bass in DUUST and loves FX pedals with a passion for dirt pedals. His favourite food is fried chicken and he broke his forearm when he was 6 playing soccer as a goalie. He’s been playing bass for 10 years in bands such as The Dant Danners. When he’s not playing bass or guitar, he likes going for long walks by the ocean and candlelit dinners. We’re all a little gear obsessed in DUUST so thank you for being a driving force when it comes to dealing with tones or diagnosing the buzz in my signal chain. Say “hey dude, how are ya?” To Robby, Robby slays the fret board and plays lead guitar in DUUST. His favourite colour is purple and he loves the band, Fountain’s of Wayne. Robby is a mixing and mastering engineer, guitar teacher and content creator. “The brit that won’t quit”, (which no one has ever called him before, and I definitely just made up) has been hard at work mixing DUUST songs for your listening pleasure.
