I’ve really missed shooting concerts as I’ve been doing a lot less editorial these days but had a lot of fun shooting To be honest I’d never heard any of their songs before before and asked my daughter for their names but they put on a great Grey Cup Half Time Show which I shot for Black Press Media.

As a journalist I almost never post about politicians, but I am making an exception today upon hearing of the passing of John Horgan. When I left my job as a written news reporter to go into a new role in video journalism, kindly reached out and congratulated me on my new position. He told me he too was excited to move into a new role soon himself. Months later he was premier of British Columbia. John was kind, generous, passionate and could even nerd out on Star Trek, all qualities I value in a human being. I am so sad to hear of his passing today. This my favourite photo I took of him over his years in office, and how I will to remember him. My deepest condolences to his family. Rest in Peace.

Finally Screening at the Nov. 9 4pm with huge thanks to our epic cast and crew and the .council and the for their support of our projects. I couldn’t have done it without you. Also big shout out to friends also screening films on our program .night and hope to see you all there.
