Simple & healthy recipe idea! ππ
We're huge fans of oatmeal for breakfast. Both simple and filling, oats are healthy source of fibre, carbohydrates, and contain more protein and fat than most other grains. This apple compote is the perfect addition to your morning oats!
The recipe:
- 4-5 apples
- K**b of fresh ginger
- Cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg
- Maple syrup (or brown sugar)
It couldn't be easier! Simply dice the apples and throw them in a pot with the rest of the ingredients + a bit of water. Heat to a simmer. Let simmer for 15 minutes. Done!
