While being a young caregiver can be a rewarding experience fueled by love and compassion, we understand it comes with its challenges too. Lack of support for young caregivers can lead to increased stress, burnout, feelings of isolation, and an overall decline in physical and mental health. We want to help reduce these challenges by offering a resource specifically for younger caregivers looking for support. Rather than assuming what would be most helpful, we want to hear directly from young caregivers aged 18-35 themselves.
Please join us for refreshments and light snacks at the People Place and share your opinion on what supports you would like to see in the community tailored specifically for young caregivers.
