What's your biggest failure that ended up being the beginning of something amazing

I just recently became a sports mom, but I have been making sports items for awhile and honestly it's so amazing watching your kids develop the skills and learn the lessons in sports. Knowing that these objects that help support their journey are truly meaningful and will be treasured.

Except my kid, who could be decked on in the coolest custom swag told me he'd cry if I made him a big head for his games ...but anyway c'est la vie at least I get to spread the joy for everyone else haha 🤣

I'm not a regular mom I'm a cool mom

Today I bought new flip flops for the first time in 9 years.

Partially it was because I really loved my original pair but could never find the exact ones again because they stopped making them.

Then life happened.

My dad got sick and I was using all my resources driving back and forth to Saskatchewan. TBK had to take on smaller, easier-to-complete jobs because I never knew from one day to the next when I might need to leave and take care of him.

Then I had to make the decision to walk away from a 10-year relationship because it wasn't right anymore. I left with little more than my car, some clothes, and this business. What had previously been my "pocket money" business suddenly had to support everything.

There wasn't much extra beyond essentials and starting over. Meanwhile my flippys kept getting more and more worn down and if you know me, you know my flip flops are basically worn from the first nice day of spring until winter starts again.

Thanks to you your support, your interactions with my posts, and choosing TBK for your business and personal printing I finally got to the place where I bought really nice new flip flops.

They aren't the same as my old ones, but they are super comfy.

It might seem silly posting about something as mundane as flip flops. It's not a huge expense in the grand scheme of things, but to me it's symbolic of leveling up.

Sometimes it's not the big milestones that hit you, it's realizing you can finally replace something you've been holding onto for almost a decade.

And that's thanks to you.
