There's more to coaching than providing a blue print. It's about creating the trusting relationship necessary to drive performance via feedback and support.
It's providing the individual with the appropriate game plan to reach their fullest potential. Hi š

Client Spotlight / Transformation
Brian and I started working together last year prior to the 2023 CPA Ottawa Natural Classic. We took a short break immediately following that and got right back to work earlier this year with the intention of competing once again at the 2024 CPA Ottawa Natural Classic.
On the right, Brian is currently 5.5 weeks out and weighing in @ 175lbs fasted. On the left, Brian was 5.5 weeks out and was weighing in @ 175lbs fasted as well.
Brian has literally transformed his physique and I can't wait for him to take the stage.
5.5 weeks to go now. Let's go Brian! Time to finish strong š
One week into the off season push and I already can't wait to get back to this but for now, we push for size.
I can honestly say that I enjoy every bit of this. I enjoy the structure, the discipline, the mindset, the focus, the intensity... All of it. Off season or pre-contest. It doesn't matter. Bodybuilding is 365:24/7.
And yes, it does get tough, even when you enjoy it. It also does get uncomfortable at times but as the saying goes...
"Be willing to be uncomfortable. Be comfortable being uncomfortable. It may get tough, but it's a small price to pay for living a dream."
- Peter McWilliams -
So let's keep pushing and let's stay uncomfortable.
The man in the mirror is your competition.
Regardless of where you are in life, or what your goal may be... It's only human nature to be our own worst enemy.
The minute you can make peace with that is the moment you will exceed above all limitations and expectations.
As he saying goes, "He who says he can and he who. says he can't, are both usually right".
- Confucius -
When it comes down to training, fitness and/or bodybuilding, no matter what the goal is, you have to be willing to put in the work required to achieve it.
There's simply no substitute for hard work. He or she who is willing to outwork their opponent typically comes out on top. Plain and simple.
So before pointing the finger ask yourself did I give it my everything? Did I put my best efforts forward day in and day out. Did I do the work?
Bottom line, you get back what you put in.
Go hard.
Stumbled upon this quote by Will Smithā¦
You don't set out to build a wall. You don't say ā I'm going to build the biggest, baddest, greatest wall that's ever been built.ā You don't start there. You say āI'm gonna lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid,' and you do that every single day, and soon you have a wall.ā
Only thing is that when it comes down to bodybuilding, itās plate by plate.
That applies to both the kitchen and in the gym.
The minute you get away from fundamentals - whether it's proper technique, work ethic or mental preparation - the bottom can fall out of your game, your schoolwork, your job, whatever you're doing.
- Micheal Jordan -
Keep it simple.
Keep it real.
You can't fake :
ā¢ Consistency
ā¢ Intensity
ā¢ Attitude
ā¢ Effort
The results will speak for themselves and expose you regardless what BS story you keep telling yourself or others. Bottom line, this is on you, always has been and always will. How bad do you want it?
If you're serious about results, comment below or DM me. I want to help you reach your fullest potential.

One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through
life, never deciding to master anything in particular.
- Tony Robbins -
We often find ourselves overwhelmed, distracted and paralyzed by our lack of vision, focus and direction. When your vision is clear, you have a decisive direction and with that you can focus your energy into making your vision a reality.
Set goals. Focus. Direct your energy. Conquer.
Working hard for something we don't care about is called STRESS! Working hard for something we love is called PASSION.
Do what you love with passion and success won't be far away.
What does stacking plates, slaying weights, and accumulating wins all have in common? They generate MOMENTUM!
Keep pushing. Keep fighting. Keep winning. It's the only way to maintain momentum.

Over 6 months of blood, sweat and tears went into this. There was highs, there was lows, moments of struggle and moments of triumph but you never gave up.
This past weekend youāve accomplished a longtime goal of yours and you finally set foot on stage at your absolute best yet!
Iām beyond proud of you and Iām so happy I was able to be a part of your journey.
Letās do it all again 2024 but better again.
Iām beyond proud of what youāve accomplished.
Youāre work ethic, determination and passion is second to none.
You brought your best to date today and you did it with such grace on stage.
Enjoy the little victories. Stay focused on your goals and believe in your abilities to achieve what ever you set your mind to.

Stoic, yes, but in this case fitting. I'd be lying to say that the want, the intent and the will to win wasn't the mindset going into the 2023 Canadian National Pro Qualifier.
Unfortunately, I fell short and came in 3rd in the Men's Open Super Heavyweight Class. That said, I cannot say that I am unhappy with the outcome. I was at my best on that day and I could not ask for anything more.
This is an opportunity to learn, grow and come back better come 2024. I will prove myself then and face all adversity.

This is definitely one of my favourite.

Looking back, I'm very happy with what Coachlittlejoe and I brought to the stage.

If there's one thing I can for sure take away from this contest prep that will serve me in the future, it's to be RELENTLESS. Sounds cliche, I know... but in all honesty, this prep was different. I had my coach with me by my side pushing me day in and day out. Joe never let off the gas. He pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of daily. I remember some of the nastiest sets had me thinking it's either I literally fail and get crushed or pass out... but Joe had a way of getting in my head and getting me to push past those fears and comfort zones. I'm forever thankful for those moments as they have only made me stronger. Literally.

What exactly is identity? I define it as the thoughts, concepts, and beliefs we hold as the most genuine parts of our inner being. You can put on a face or act a certain way for the rest of the world, but you can't lie to yourself when it comes to these things. Deep inside, you know what's true about you. Put another way, identity is this: What we perceive about ourselves is what we believe about ourselves.
