A decorator didn't bother painting the top of this door. I won't use him again.

Thoughts? I think the wallpaper may be a little too much.

This was my mother's sewing cabinet. We had a fire and a remodel and I no longer had the wall space for this piece. HOWEVER, I had a brand new powder room that needed a vanity. My plumber thought this was the coolest thing he was ever asked to do.

Why wrap switches like this?

I’m rearranging light switch ordering an electrician installed a few months back. Why would he wrap up the back side like this? Seems unnecessary?

Hoping someone can help. What can we do to these doors to make them less terrible. I want to keep all but the little door for storage under the stairs. All other cabinets are getting new shaker style doors.

Edit: there are stairs going up AND down behind them. The door on the right is to the upstairs. It is a walkway from the porch to the dining room (these are in the kitchen) and in a really old farmhouse so they are deep storage that’s needed. I can’t do anything structurally.

Do electricians typically leave drywall patches, looking like this.

Not sure how much of a hack this is but I didn’t fancy paying £40 for lights in the pax wardrobe but really wanted them! I spotted a motion sensor no-drill energizer light in b&m for £12. So much easier to install! Apparently lasts around 3 months before recharging. Would prefer a warmer light but can’t complain for £12.

My dilapidated little house, please don't criticize it.
