What I have learned today!
Be patient the tan will come 🤣
Use 1/4 cream and 3/4 tanner! It will give a deeper tan! Thicker the cream the less you want to use!
Stay tuned for arm and leg pics! Definitely a nice tan! Not orange at all! If you are more pale you will want to use less to start and build up!

The two tanning agents in our tan drops are Dihydroxyacetone and Erythrulose.

Sounds like scary ingredients but both are plant based sugars, gentle on the skin and recommended instead of uv rays.

DHA

Dihydroxyacetone, or DHA, is a colourless, non-toxic sugar that is derived from plants like sugarcane and beets, which is what gives this ingredient its sweet-smelling odour.

When it meets your skin, a natural reaction takes place – melanoids are created that stain the colour of your skin to a darker shade. DHA reacts with the amino acids that are naturally present on the surface layers of your skin, DHA Is fast acting and only takes a few hours

DHA is very safe for your skin. It has been ruled as totally safe by the FDA and does not cause cancer. DHA-based sunless tanning has been recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation, American Academy of Dermatology Association, Canadian Dermatology Association and the American Medical Association as a safer alternative to sun-bathing.

ERYTHRULOSE

Erythrulose is slower acting than DHA and has lower reactivity with the proteins in the skin compared to DHA.

Although this reduced reactivity is often presumed as a disadvantage, it is beneficial. The gentle enduring reaction of Erythrulose protects the skin and leads to a reduced peeling compared with DHA. As a result the tanning of the skin by Erythrulose takes more time but lasts considerably longer. This makes ERYHRULOSE the modern choice.
