What does the Catholic Church actually teach about Angels?
Angels are not mythical figures or mere symbols. They are real, spiritual creatures created by God, with a role in His divine plan and in the salvation of souls.
What does the Church teach about their nature, their mission, and their relationship with mankind? And what should Catholics believe about the invisible world of angels?

How Long Did Jesus Suffer?
Hours? From Gethsemane to Calvary, Our Lord's Passion unfolded over the course of a day.
But His Passion revealed something far deeper: a Heart that loved us completely, and continues to be wounded by our ingratitude.
St. Margaret Mary Alacoque reported that Our Lord showed her His Sacred Heart and said:
“Behold this Heart which has so loved men... and in return I receive from the greater part only ingratitude, by their irreverence and sacrilege, and by the coldness and contempt they have for Me in this Sacrament of love.”
Christ's Passion happened once, and His sacrifice is eternally sufficient. Yet His Sacred Heart continues to be offended by the sins, indifference, sacrileges, and ingratitude of men, especially toward Him in the Blessed Sacrament.
And He asks us to make reparation.
Through Holy Communion on the First Fridays.
Through Eucharistic adoration and a Holy Hour.
Through prayer, sacrifice, and a heart that remains watchful.
In the Garden, Jesus asked Peter:
“Could you not watch one hour with Me?”
That question still reaches us today.
Will you watch with Him?

OCTOBER - Month dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary
Why is October dedicated to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary?
The tradition goes back to the Battle of Lepanto on October 7, 1571. As the Christian fleet faced the Ottoman forces, Pope St. Pius V called Catholics throughout Europe to pray the Rosary, asking for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Christian victory was attributed to Our Lady’s powerful intercession, and October 7 became associated with Our Lady of Victory, later known as Our Lady of the Rosary.
But October holds an even deeper significance for those who follow the Message of Fatima.
On October 13, 1917, during the final apparition at Fatima, Our Lady identified Herself:
“I am the Lady of the Rosary.”
She also asked the faithful to “continue to say the Rosary every day.”
This October, let us answer Our Lady’s request and pray the Holy Rosary every day!
Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!
What do we need the Catholic Church for?
From navigating the ambiguous language surrounding the Jewish covenant and interreligious dialogue to untangling the difference between "evangelization" and "proselytism," we examine why decades of these shifts leave traditional Catholics more confused than ever.

"Today we honor St. Michael the Archangel, Prince of the Heavenly Host."
MI-CA-EL,” or “Who is like to God?” Such was the cry of the great Archangel when he smote the rebel Lucifer in the conflict of the heavenly hosts, and from that hour he has been known as “Michael,” the captain of the armies of God, the type of divine fortitude, the champion of every faithful soul in strife with the powers of evil.
“Whenever,” says St. Bernard, “any grievous temptation or vehement sorrow oppresses thee, invoke thy guardian, thy leader; cry out to him, and say, ‘Lord, save us, lest we perish!'”

FEAST OF ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
Angels and demons are real, and their influence extends beyond the spiritual realm.
How can angels and demons affect the physical world? What can they do to our senses, imagination, and bodies? And where are the limits of their power?
In this new article, Matthew Plese explores the traditional Catholic teaching on angels and demons, drawing from Sacred Scripture and St. Thomas Aquinas. He also explains the role of the Angel of Fatima and why Catholics must take the spiritual battle seriously without falling into superstition or fascination with evil.
