Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour Live in 3D offers Billie Eilish fans an intimate front-row concert experience, even if it falls short of fully reinventing the genre.
Co-directed by Eilish and James Cameron, the film captures the singer’s magnetic stage presence with immersive 3D camerawork that places audiences closer than ever to the performance. While the documentary elements only scratch the surface of Eilish’s artistry and personal insights, the concert footage itself highlights just how effortlessly she commands an arena with minimal spectacle and pure musical talent.
It may not revolutionize the concert film, but for devoted fans, this is an up-close experience unlike any other.

Mortal Kombat II finally delivers the brutal, lore-heavy tournament movie fans have been waiting for, while making the franchise far more accessible to newcomers.
Shifting focus to iconic characters like Johnny Cage and Kitana, the sequel embraces the series’ gloriously campy fantasy roots with bone-crunching fights, over-the-top mythology, and plenty of crowd-pleasing fatalities. Director Simon McQuoid finds a much stronger balance between fan service and emotional stakes, giving the film more personality and a lot more fun.
While not a flawless victory, Mortal Kombat II levels up in nearly every way from its predecessor and proves this franchise may finally be finding its footing on the big screen.
