نہ میرے خواب بدلے، نہ کوئ تعبیر بدلی ہے
نہ دن بدلے ہیں میرے،نہ میری تقدیر بدلی ہے.

وہی فرمان شاہی ہے، وہی ہے اذن سلطانی
وہی سکہ ہے رائج اس پہ بس تصویر بدلی ہے.

میری آنکھوں سے پٹی کھول دو کہ آج میں دیکھوں
کہ آزادی ملی ہے یا فقط زنجیر بدلی ہے.
