Absolute Superman 1 opens with Jor-El and Lara getting shut out of Krypton’s Science Guild while Jor-El spots something dangerous in the planet’s core. Nobody listens. The system stays blind. Then the story jumps to Earth, where oppression looks different but feels all too familiar.
