🧠A trick to learn how to lift your soft palate: Say “ng” (like in “sing”)—you’ll feel the soft palate close. Now say “ah” as if you’re surprised or yawning. That release and lift is what you want when you sing.

🔥When your soft palate is lifted, it creates more space in your vocal tract, which gives your voice that warm, powerful, open sound.

🎤Start paying attention to it when you warm up or sing vowels, especially “ah,” “oh,” and “oo.” The more control you build here, the better your tone will get.

🧠 Most singers overlook this, but your jaw plays a huge role in how your voice releases
⚠️ When it’s tight, it limits space and blocks resonance, especially on higher notes
✨ That’s why releasing tension can instantly change your sound

💡 What to focus on:✔️ Gently massage the jaw to reduce tightness✔️ Let your jaw drop more than you think—it creates the space your voice needs✔️ More space = fuller, stronger high notes

🎯 Relaxed jaw = better resonance = more power without strain

⏱ Try this before you sing and notice how much easier your high notes feel

💾 Save this, practice daily, and come back to it before every session 🙌

✨ Yawn gently in front of a mirror and notice how much more space you feel inside your mouth.

🎤While singing, try to recreate that same relaxed “yawn shape” to help your high notes feel fuller and easier.

🔥Another trick is to imitate the feeling of a gentle burp, notice what happens in your throat and use that same open feeling while singing.

💡 What does “engaging your core” actually mean👇

👊 Imagine someone GENTLY pushing their fist into the upper part of your stomach and you have to resist or stay steady. That’s the feeling your core works against while singing!

🫁 Supporting your voice is NOT about rigid tension or holding your breath. It’s about creating a stable foundation for your voice to lean on.

🔥 Good support = less tension in the neck, jaw, and throat + more control and stability in your voice.

✨ Your singing support system involves much more than just your abs, and i explain all about it in the course.

💡This is What Vocal Register means👇

🔴 Chest Voice: Your speaking voice register—full, strong, and rich. Feel the vibration in your chest. Put your hand there to feel the buzz.

🔵 Head Voice: A lighter, higher register where the sound resonates more in the head. Feel the vibration in your forehead. Place your hand there to feel the buzz.

🟣 Mix Voice: A balanced blend of chest and head voice that helps you sing higher notes with power but less strain. Put your fingers beside your nose to feel the buzzing.

✨ Once you can feel where the vibration lives, controlling your voice becomes much easier.

💡Vocal Trick You Can Do to Sing Higher Today👇

⭐ By curving your tongue slightly inward, you create an open space inside your mouth, helping your voice sound free, powerful, and resonant.

🎤 Keep your tongue relaxed and gently curved like a soft wave, not tense or pushed back.

👅 Keep the tip of your tongue resting against your bottom teeth.

👉 Of course, you can’t keep it this way all the time, we need the tongue to pronounce words, but on open, sustained vowels, try to get the tongue out of the way to let the sound flow freely.

💡You can easily control your singing tone by adjusting the Larynx

🎉 Btw this is part of the ‘Singing Course for Visual Learners’ now on Spring Sale with 20% off!

✅Check it out. The link is in my bio click and join thousands of students 🩵

🎤 Want a deeper, fuller tone?
Try lowering your larynx with a gentle yawn sensation.

✨ Want a brighter, lighter sound?
Raise it with a subtle smile.

🎶 The lower the larynx, the richer the sound — the higher it goes, the more delicate and bright the tone becomes.

🎙️ Experiment with both and play with your tone colors like a pro!

💡How to Breathe & Engage Your Core When Singing High Notes 👇

🎤 Expand your ribs and lower abs, not your shoulders.

⬇️ Breathe low (imagine an arrow going down). As you inhale, your diaphragm moves downward and your lungs expand.

⚡ When you sing the note (exhale), your core gently resists the air, that’s the key skill to master and the meaning of support.

✨ Feel a steady outward energy around your waist and lower ribs, not sucking in, but expanding outward.

🔥 Breathe 360° around your ribs and waist, then control the release instead of letting the air fall out.

👉 Engage your core, not your throat.

🎶 Master this, and your high notes will feel lighter not forced.

💡Do this to find the right placement in your high notes:

🎉 Btw this is part of the ‘Singing Course for Visual Learners’ now on Spring Sale with 20% off!

👶 Start with a baby-cry sound to naturally guide your voice into a lighter, effortless coordination.

👃 Focus the sound forward, almost like it’s resonating in your nose, to avoid pushing from your throat.

🎯 Use the “needle” visualization to track where your sound is going and keep it consistent.

🔄 Once it feels easy, switch from the baby sound to real words while keeping that same placement.

🎯 Gradually dial it back and fine-tune the balance so it sounds natural, not exaggerated.

✨ This is how you build those clean, bright high notes without tension or forcing.
